I remember reading about Stephen Hawking being concerned about them playing around with 'the God particle' (Higgs Boson) because it could cause a black hole that would collapse the universe. That seemed more than a little concerning to me.
My immediate response is "So what?!" The best they can hope for is a demon. They are just a creature made by the Lord who rebelled and went on a huge ego trip. That is who the Lord is laughing at in Psalm 2. The heathens at that horrible time have reason to fear. We do not. Jesus told us that the Father will end it before it is too late.
What I got was, with all their involvements in areas that have nothing to do with the collider—“nothing to see here”—really? They blatantly shown the world their demonic worship during the opening ceremony of the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland, which took place on June 1, 2016.

I agree with that. My reply was quite clumsy. As a believer, the problem of CERN is merely of interest. It is no threat to us.
