The Logos as the Tree’s DNA & Life-Giving Flow
The Logos is the structuring force of the entire tree of life—it is both the DNA and the life-giving flow.
DNA determines what the tree will become, ensuring that it grows according to its intended design.
The sap moves through the tree, ensuring that everything receives the nourishment it needs to grow.
Spiritual Reality:
The Logos is not merely an external force—it is the very essence, identity, function, and sustaining power of the tree into which you are grafted, the divine structure of God’s wisdom and life.
The Logos as the DNA of the Tree
Just as DNA inside a seed determines how a tree will grow, the Logos is the spiritual DNA that determines all creation’s design and order.
DNA inside a seed is set before it is planted.
The DNA dictates everything—the size, type of leaves, fruit, and structure.
The tree cannot deviate from its DNA unless something interferes with it.
Spiritual Reality:
The Logos is the divine DNA of all things—the blueprint of God’s will.
It ensures that all creation follows its intended design unless it is corrupted.
Humans were created to reflect God’s nature (Genesis 1:26), but sin disrupted their alignment with the Logos.
The Logos as the Sap That Flows Through the Tree
Just as sap carries life-giving nutrients from the roots to the branches, the Logos carries the Father’s divine reasoning and wisdom throughout creation.
If the sap is blocked, the branch withers and dies.
The quality of the fruit depends on how well the branch is receiving the flow of sap.
Spiritual Reality:
If you are cut off from the Logos, you will spiritually die (John 15:6).
The Logos must be freely flowing in you so you can grow into the design God intended.
If you are grafted into the tree, you must fully merge with the Logos, or you will not thrive.
Jesus: The First Strong Trunk from the Logos
John 14:10 The words I say to you I do not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me does His works.
Hebrews 1:3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature.
Jesus is the first and perfect vessel of the Logos—the shoot that became the main trunk.
Through Jesus, the full structure of God’s reasoning (Logos) was manifested in human form.
Everything that grows from him is rooted in God’s wisdom, not human wisdom.
Spiritual Reality:
Jesus is the perfect example of what it means to be a vessel for the Logos.
The Branch and the Logos: Staying Connected to the Source
A branch that grows off the main trunk is completely dependent on the life-giving flow moving through it. Without that flow, it withers and dies.
Jesus is the first and perfect vessel of the Logos—the shoot that became the main trunk, firmly rooted in the will of the Father. Through Jesus, the full structure of God’s reasoning (Logos) was made manifest, allowing life to flow through him to all who would be connected to him.
A branch does not exist for itself—it exists to bear fruit, reflecting the health and nature of the tree. But for it to stay alive, it must remain fully attached to the trunk. The Logos (God’s reasoning and will) must flow freely through it, nourishing and sustaining it.
John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.
Spiritual Reality:
Jesus is the perfect example of what it means to be a vessel for the Logos—completely dependent on the Father’s will, fully aligned with His divine reasoning.
A branch that resists the flow of the Logos—the true life-giving force within the tree—will struggle, bearing little or no fruit. The trunk (Jesus) provides the structure, but it is the Logos (the sap) that carries the fullness of God’s wisdom, purpose, and life. Only by fully receiving this flow can a believer thrive.
Question: Are you truly receiving the flow of the Logos, allowing it to shape your thoughts, actions, and purpose? Or are you merely attached to the tree without fully surrendering to its life-giving power?
